Casey Lund brings two complementary perspectives to KC Consulting: a reporter’s instinct for a compelling story and a healthcare marketer’s understanding of the relationships that help practices grow. As a Hawaiʻi News Now Sunrise reporter, he connects with people across the islands, asks the questions that matter and makes complex stories clear and engaging.
Since 2019, Casey has worked in provider relations and marketing for Oral Surgery Hawaiʻi through Beacon Oral Specialists. His experience spans referral-office outreach, continuing education events, provider introductions and marketing communications, giving him a practical understanding of how to build trust with referring providers and patients.
As a founder, interviewer and event host, Casey brings warmth, curiosity and hands-on follow-through to every project. He helps practices find their voice, strengthen their relationships and turn the expertise inside their offices into stories people remember.

Meet Kainoa Carlson
Consultant & partner.
Kainoa Carlson is an Emmy-winning television host, storyteller and creator with deep roots in Hawaiʻi. A host of HI Now and creator and host of Kitchen Scraps, he brings energy, warmth and a sharp instinct for stories that put people at the center. He was part of the team recognized with a 2026 regional Emmy for the Kitchen Scraps “Back to School” episode.
Born and raised in Kāneʻohe, Kainoa is a Punahou graduate and former University of Hawaiʻi football player. His television career began behind the scenes at Hawaiʻi News Now in 2014, with experience in production, editing and photojournalism before moving into sports reporting and lifestyle hosting. That foundation gives him a perspective on the whole production, from shaping an idea to connecting with an audience on camera.
As a consultant and partner at KC Consulting, Kainoa brings that creative range to brand storytelling, video development, interviews and event hosting. His ability to put people at ease and draw out their best stories helps clients communicate with confidence and build a more personal connection with their communities.
